'Fuck-Off Friday': A HutSix Initiative for Work-Life Balance

Sorry not sorry about the swears, let us introduce you to our newest initiative, brought into the world by our esteemed COO, Erika Hamilton: 'Fuck-Off Friday' – crafted to provide the HutSix team with the freedom to relax, recharge, and reconnect with their passions.

So, how does 'Fuck-Off Friday' work, you might ask? Let's get into all the details!

The Concept

The moniker may raise an eyebrow, but the concept is truly ingenious. 'Fuck-Off Friday' is a quarterly treat that extends an invitation to every HutSix team member to bid adieu to work for one special Friday afternoon each quarter.

The Perks

Here's the pièce de résistance: each team member receives a pre-loaded debit card every quarter. It's their golden ticket to indulge in whatever brings them joy, completely guilt-free! Whether it's an exquisite meal, a beloved hobby, some time with the kids, or a tranquil escape to nature – the choice is theirs and theirs alone.

Sharing the Joy

We wholeheartedly encourage each team member to discuss what they did with their time and funds on the following Monday. This encourages stronger bonds and deeper connections within our team.

Flexible Enjoyment

We understand that our staff might wish to save up for an extra-special 'me time' experience. Which is why we offer the flexibility to bank both their time and the financial allowance for up to 12 months. This affords the opportunity to plan for extended weekends, pursue those dream activities, or even elongate annual leave.

The Motivation

In essence, 'Fuck-Off Friday' is all about embracing work-life balance and nurturing the connections that make our HutSix team so remarkable.

We encourage your workplace to do something similar: design your very own 'Fuck-Off Friday' – a day for you to pamper yourself, unwind, and share your joy with your colleagues.

We hope to make 'Fuck-Off Friday' a tradition that we all hold dear, a reminder that looking after ourselves is just as crucial as looking after business matters.
